Mr. Peter Zhang was the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of B&R Global Holdings, Inc. (“B&R”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of HFFG and the holding company for the various operating subsidiaries founded by Peter and his partners who were all originally from China.
Peter has over 20 years of experience in the food distribution industry with extensive experience in sales, marketing, financing, acquisitions, inventory, logistics and distribution dating as far back to 1999 working from the ground up. Having established a large supplier network and maintaining long-term relationships with many major suppliers were built up over the years, and under Peter’s leadership, B&R was officially formed in 2014 as a holding company to consolidate the various operating entities all under one roof.
Ms. Westfall is a corporate partner based in the San Francisco office of a US global law firm. As a corporate and securities attorney, Ms. Westfall counsels public companies on corporate governance, securities compliance and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Ms. Westfall advises clients on US-China cross-border business transactions, as well as market entry strategy, corporate development and branding for Chinese companies seeking investment opportunities in the US, and US companies seeking access to the Chinese market.
Ms. Westfall also serves as an outside general counsel for a global cold chain technology company and sits on the board of advisors for several Silicon Valley startups. Ms. Westfall received her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
Ms. Lim, a retired partner with the global professional services organization, Ernst & Young (“EY”), is a seasoned global business leader, SEC-qualified financial expert and CPA with over 35 yearsof experience advising Fortune 100 and growth companies on strategic business development, digital transformations, acquisitions & divestitures, supply chain, tax planning and IPO readiness. During her tenure at EY, Ms. Lim also provided exceptional global relationship management to her clients by collaborating, building relationships and leading global teams.
Ms. Lim received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from De La Salle University and Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Maria Ross, a retired supply chain professional, with over 30 years experience spanning retail, grocery and manufacturing sectors. She held leadership positions in supply chain and logistics functions for Nike, Fresh Market, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Oldcastle, and The Home Depot. Throughout her career, she was responsible for teams focused on the implementation of strategic initiatives, operational execution and P&L performance. Maria’s career highlights include organizational transformations, margin enhancement initiatives, and systems implementations.
Maria received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and her MBA from University of Detroit.
